Accompaniment

« back to classes page
ClassGraphic Accompaniment CourseWe will explore the practice and ministry of accompaniment, identify its biblical and theological roots, understand the lens through which we view ourselves and others, discuss deeper cultural awareness, mental health, and self-care, learn to identify strengths within our communities and congregations, increase collaboration and develop a ministry plan of accompaniment-based ministry for individuals or communities. You are expected to check into the course regularly (a few times each week) to receive all updates and announcements. Successful students spend four to five-and-a-half hours each month on coursework and are engaged in meaningful discussions with their peers about course content and what they have learned over the course of each month.
