WPSP15 Preaching: Telling the Story Well

The course is designed to equip the preacher to develop and deliver sermons in the local church that faithfully transmit the historic faith of Jesus Christ. Participants will develop a theology of proclamation, practical habits for preparation, and best practices for delivery. The class will meet in hybrid format, including an intensive in-person session with follow-up online coursework.
The class meets the Alternative Educational Pathway requirements of The Global Methodist Church for study in the area of basic preaching.

As a Recommended Educational Institution for the Global Methodist Church, classes at Truett Seminary fulfill the requirements of those seeking ordination through the Alternative Educational Pathway.
