A Guardianship can be modified or terminated if the person with a Guardian regains decisional capacity in some or all areas. Appropriate alternatives to Guardianship may become available and provide a way for needs to be met. In these situations, a Guardianship might be modified to give some or all rights back to the person with a Guardian. This course discusses situations in which this might be appropriate as well as the steps needed to modify or terminate a Guardianship.
This is a self-paced online course.
