Preparing Educators with Autism Knowledge and Skills, Part 1
This is a 16-hour course that will prepare educators to implement evidence-based practices with students with autism. This course is specifically designed for special education teachers, autism specialists, behavior specialists, paraprofessionals, administrators, and other educators who work with students with autism of any age. Educators will learn teaching techniques and behavior management strategies that will maximize learning outcomes for their students with autism.
This course contains content aligned with the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Task List (2nd edition). Those who complete this 16-hour course will be eligible to complete two additional courses containing the remaining RBT Task List content. Together, this training program is based on the RBT Task List (2nd ed.) and is designed to meet the 40-hour training requirement for RBT certification. The program is offered independent of the BACB.
