Even if a person needs a Guardian to help with decision-making, he or she should be able to enjoy things that contribute to a happy life if at all possible. An important responsibility for any Guardian is to advocate for and assist the person with a Guardian to be as independent as possible and to enjoy the best quality of life available. This course discusses in detail methods a Guardian can use to ensure this important responsibility is met to the best of his or her ability.
This is a self-paced online course.
