The Boston Massacre Trial

ClassGraphic On March 5, 1770, British troops opened fire on Boston civilians in an event that has become known as “The Boston Massacre.” This course with Dr. Julie Sweet and Prof. Jerry Powell will take an in-depth look at the history of that event and its legal consequences and will conclude with a staged trial (at Bennett Auditorium) of those British soldiers hosted by both History and Law School students to commemorate the 250th anniversary of that event.
