« back to classes page
ClassGraphic

The Guardian of the Person is responsible for promoting autonomy and independence while still ensuring health and safety. This can be a delicate balancing act that can change throughout the life of a Guardianship. This course discusses all the basic responsibilities from assessment of need, identifying resources to address those needs, making a plan and monitoring how the plan is working. Advocacy is also an important concept for Guardians to understand and is discussed at length.

This is a self-paced online course.
