| Short videos and films are becoming an ever-more-important part of our daily lives, and you can learn the theory and practice of this art for yourself. Maverick Moore will lead you through the three stages of the filmmaking process: you will learn to write a script during pre-production, shoot footage using a smartphone or table camera during production, and edit your film during post-production. Working in small groups, students will produce a 30-60 second short film during the course. The successful student entering this course will already be comfortable with basic computer skills including transferring files, navigating the Internet, and recording video on a smartphone or tablet.
