Motivational Interviewing (MI) Training for CSEY Responders

The Child Sex Trafficking Team at the Texas Governor’s Office and Baylor University Continuing Education are piloting customized Motivational Interviewing (MI) trainings for responders working with commercially sexually exploited youth (CSEY).

A significant challenge for CSEY responders is the ambivalence of victims/survivors about acting for their own wellness - staying in a safe location, making the most of treatment and restoration services or supporting investigative activities.
