Does your family manage hectic afternoon and evening schedules? Many families struggle to find time for family meals, and table manners become lax in our fast-paced culture. Let instructor Sarah Aynesworth teach you and your child graceful table manners over an interactive three-course lunch. Topics include: the seven ingredients of a good introduction, napkin etiquette, using silverware properly, how to set the table, how to cut food properly, and other dos and don'ts while dining. Adults may register (and must attend with) up to two children 7 to 12 years old who each register. Please register by October 10th.

Ladies and gentleman, young and old, join Sarah Aynesworth for a holiday tea. Over an interactive tea, Ms. Aynesworth will teach you elegant manners that far exceed the reach of the tea table. Topics include introductions, body language, when and when not to use your cell phone, and most of all skills for enjoying the lost art of conversation. After an afternoon with Ms. Aynesworth, you will be more ready to gracefully navigate holiday parties and receptions. Starting with the basics, instructor Alisa Dabney will guide you to explore simple techniques that will wow your family and guests, and just in time for the holidays. The class will cover buttercream icing, character cakes, borders, decorations, writing and lettering, assembling a tiered cake, and baking tips. You will become comfortable manufacturing frosting, using piping bags and tips, and making and applying simple fondant decorations. You need to bring household and decorating supplies to each class and a baked cake to decorate to the last class session.
