Working in small groups, you will produce a 30-60 second short film during the course. The successful student entering this course will already be comfortable with basic computer skills including transferring files, navigating the Internet, and recording video on a smartphone or tablet.   Tentative Course Outline:  A tentative course calendar is provided below.    Topics  Notes  Storytelling, screenwriting, determining what you need to make it, and storyboarding  We will be writing a 1-page script, list all the resources needed to make it, and storyboard it in class. However, come to class with story ideas in mind and keep it simple/doable - meaning, you need to be able to shoot it during class-time on August 7th  Cinematography, lighting, sound  During class, we will be shooting the 1-page screenplay based on your storyboards.  Editing and exporting  Using software in class, we will edit the movies in class and (if time permits) show them.
