History of the War in Vietnam

Many of us served or lived through the war in Vietnam, but do we really understand all that happened? Brad Livingstone, popular historian and Baylor’s First Gent, will cover the multi-layered aspects surrounding the Vietnam War. Using Vietnam Veterans as guest speakers and video from that era, he will explore the historical, geographic, political, and social situations that converged to result in the very confusing, conflicting, and controversial war. Known for his vast knowledge of World War II, he will also compare and contrast the Vietnam War with other military conflicts.
