Professional Selling and Stakeholder Relationships for Nonprofits

The theories and skills of professional selling from the for-profit world have useful applications in nonprofit organizations as well, especially for fundraising. This course starts with Josh Holman, who will teach you new skills for crafting a story around your nonprofit organization’s purpose and increasing your influence in our communities. After lunch, Harry Harelik, CPA, CFRE will engage you in a discussion about thoroughly knowing your organization, building an elevator speech, developing and continuing stakeholder relations and board members’ roles in the fundraising and post-donation relationship and ultimately "making the ask."
