Enneagram for Leadership Certificate (CERTEFL) Information

The Enneagram for Leadership certificate program builds on participants' knowledge of this ancient tool and its meaning for their life. It includes three levels of workshops, where participants learn and apply specific Enneagram content in-depth through readings, lectures, writing, and teaching experiences as well as developing practices for the use of the Enneagram in daily life and in leadership in multiple settings.

The primary objectives include:

• learning the history and wisdom the Enneagram has to offer on a personal level, and
• developing the skills of teaching and leading using the Enneagram as a resource.

The approach of the program is guiding participants through three levels of workshops that:

• begin with basic information about the Enneagram
• then developing a more in-depth knowledge base of how the Enneagram works and what it means in our life, and
• finally fostering the development of Enneagram wisdom in learning to apply this resource as part of our life and leadership.

Program format

The program includes a basic workshop and three intermediate workshops that serve as a foundation for the certificate program, followed by three advanced workshops that are more substantial in their focus on the integration of enneagram knowledge for deeper personal and professional use. The third level asks participants to identify a setting where they will use the Enneagram to teach and guide others. At each level, the program seeks to encourage introspective reflection and foster relationships.

Certificate Requirements

• 7 core essentials courses (39 hrs.)

  • Enneagram Information (3 hrs)
  • Enneagram Knowledge: Centers* (4 hrs)
  • Enneagram Knowledge: Passions* (4 hrs)
  • Enneagram Knowledge: Arrows* (4 hrs)
  • Enneagram Wisdom: Centers** (8 hrs)
  • Enneagram Wisdom: Passions** (8 hrs)
  • Enneagram Wisdom: Arrows** (8 hrs)

• Minimum of 90% attendance for each course required. 

*Prerequisite: Enneagram Information or equivalent / ** Prerequisite: Enneagram Information and Knowledge courses
